About the Crypto QR Code

Wallet addresses are long strings that are easy to copy wrong, and a single wrong character sends funds to the wrong place. A crypto QR code puts the address, and optionally an amount and label, into a standard payment URI that wallet apps read directly. This tool supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bitcoin Cash, and builds the code in your browser.

What you can do

• Choose Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
• Paste the receiving wallet address.
• Add an optional amount, label and message in the BIP21 style that wallets understand.
• Download the code as PNG or SVG; the file is named after the coin.

When it works best

• Accepting crypto donations on a website or stream overlay.
• Requesting a specific amount for an invoice or a sale.
• Printing a receiving address for a shop counter or event.

Things to know

• The address is encoded locally and is never sent to WizzyTools or a blockchain service.
• The tool does not check that the address belongs to the chosen coin, so verify it in your wallet first.
• Ethereum, tokens and Lightning invoices are not supported.
• Not every wallet reads the label and message. Scan with your own wallet before publishing the code.
