About the PayPal QR Code

PayPal.Me links let anyone send you money, but nobody wants to type one from a poster. This tool turns your PayPal.Me username, and an optional amount and currency, into a QR code built in your browser. Scanning it opens your PayPal.Me page with the amount ready, so the payer only has to log in and confirm.

What you can do

• Enter your PayPal.Me username, or paste the whole paypal.me link and the username is taken from it.
• Set an optional amount to request.
• Choose USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD or INR as the currency.
• Copy the code into a design, or download it as a PNG or SVG.

When it works best

• Craft fairs, pop-up shops and markets without a card reader.
• Tip jars for buskers, guides and streamers.
• Splitting a bill or collecting fees from a group.

Things to know

• The code is generated locally; WizzyTools is not connected to PayPal and never sees payments.
• You need a PayPal.Me profile set up in your PayPal account first.
• PayPal may charge fees, and payers in some countries may not be able to use PayPal.Me.
• Leave the amount empty to let people choose how much to send. In India, UPI QR Code is the more common option.
