About the QR Code with Logo

Plain black-and-white QR codes all look the same. Putting your logo in the middle tells people whose code it is before they scan. This tool draws a QR code at the highest error correction level, so part of it can be covered, then places your logo on a rounded panel in the centre, sized with a slider, all inside your browser.

What you can do

• Enter the URL or text the code should open.
• Upload a logo image and set its size from 15 to 25 percent of the code width.
• Choose foreground and background colours; the panel behind the logo uses the background colour.
• Download a 512-pixel PNG or copy it to the clipboard.

When it works best

• Brand materials such as menus, packaging and shop windows.
• Event badges and conference slides where people should recognise the sponsor.
• Social media and email graphics where a bare code looks out of place.

Things to know

• The logo and the code are combined on a canvas on your device; neither is uploaded.
• Error correction is fixed at High (30%), which is what lets the code survive having its centre covered.
• The logo is drawn as a square, so a wide logo is squashed. Use a square icon version, or crop it first with Crop Image.
• Output is PNG only. Always test-scan a logo code before printing, and use QR Code Generator if you need an SVG.
