About the Email QR Code
Asking people to email you means they have to copy the address and often forget what to write. An email QR code opens the phone's mail app with your address, and optionally a subject and message, already filled in, so all they have to do is press Send. The code is a standard mailto: link built in your browser.
What you can do
- Set the recipient address the email will go to.
- Add an optional subject line, such as "Quote request" or "Event RSVP".
- Pre-write an optional message body for the sender to edit or send as it is.
- Recolour the code and save it as a PNG or an SVG.
When it works best

Things to know
- The mailto link is put together in your browser and no email is sent by this tool.
- The sender still has to press Send in their own app, and needs a mail account set up on the phone.
- Long pre-written messages make the code dense, so keep the body short.
- Your address can be read by anyone who scans the code. To share full contact details instead, use vCard QR Code.
